We’re Alec and Zach, brothers who really love ice cream and are crazy enough to make the ice cream we wish existed. We grew up looking at food labels, shopping organic, finding every occasion to enjoy a scoop of ice cream. In search of not having to compromise flavor for healthier alternatives, we realized quality ingredient ice cream made clean, simple, and as delicious as the rest did not exist.
Oat and non-dairy ice cream were more processed than organic milk products and the best tasting pints had corn syrup, ingredients we couldn’t pronounce and gave us sugar food comas.
I started making recipes with the best ingredients I could find – fresh fruit, cacao, real coffee beans, organic eggs, milk from farms and the difference in taste was next-level. I could not go back and Alec’s Ice Cream was born.
We went all in and now make each pint in our very own ice cream factory in Sonoma County just miles away from our local farmers and suppliers. We’re proud to serve up the flavor and quality first ice cream everyone deserves.
ICE CREAM MADE THE TRADITIONAL WAY
Our ice cream is made with our fresh take on the French custard-style – with the least amount of ingredients for the maximum amount of ﬂavor. Rather than reinventing the way ice cream is made, we went back to the basics and created it in its purest form with the best pasture-raised dairy, free-range egg yolks, and raw cane sugar. This is ice cream the way it's supposed to be made.
